With its steep inclines and narrow, windy roads, Conor Pass is notorious for being one of Ireland's bolder routes to take to work in the morning.

As we left the town of Dingle, I took a sharp turn onto a more scenic road. "You're not going on it, right?" asked Emma. "Sure am!"

"Ugh...ok...okay! Let's do it." That's all the reassurance I needed.

It was a hell of a ride over the Conor Pass.

With two little ones living in our home, I can't help feel that sensation every day. When they get sick, when they fall over, when their feelings get hurt, when they cry out for us. We're all they have. Our stability is theirs.
